Day 5 and Cheating

I think the mini cheating is starting to catch up now, because I didn't even lose 1 pound this morning... I don't think it will change through the day, but we'll see...

I really need to get serious with this, or I am going to end up not doing it right and staying like this, or worse, for the rest of my life. I am not going to accept and justify it this time, and make it seem like it's not as bad as it is. Because it is bad. I shouldn't have let it get this far for real. It's time to get serious now. Ready set go...

Day 4... Down 6 pounds!!!!

I have lost 6 pounds so far, and it feels GREAT to be seeing results! I cheated last night and had part of a sandwich when I made them for the kids, but everything was so crazy that I didn't eat my regular dinner meal, so I think it won't be too bad... We'll see though. :)

I am so excited for what the future holds at a normal weight. I look forward to running around with my kids this summer, and taking them camping and such, and it's just so much easier when it's more comfortable to be active. Don't get me wrong, even overweight I am able to do these things, but it takes a lot more effort than if I was in better shape! :) I went shopping last night, and got all my food for the next little while, so I have NO excuse for not eating the right stuff. I'm going to do it right this time for sure!! So do me a favor, if you see me, ask me how I'm doing and remind me that people are watching. :)

Day 3 of the low calorie phase

I had an Orange for breakfast (which is not really an official fruit of the diet, but I don't care. Ha ha), and surprisingly good tasting BOILED chicken with a cut up tomato for lunch. It was the best meal that I've had since starting the diet, so I'll be sure to remember it in future meal menus.

It's been hard to stick to this thing since I don't like meat very much, so I've been researching different recipes to try to hide the "meat" taste a little. I have come across a few that seem good...
I am motivated to do it right this time, so I hope I can pull it through. :)

Day 4, but only 2 were the "diet" days

Even though I cheated a bit yesterday, had a little popcorn when I made it for the kids, and a little spaghetti at my moms, I still managed to lose 2 1/2 pounds... I'll weigh myself in the morning and see what it says. I think it's more acurate then...

The diet

Today is the day. I am starting the HCG diet, and this time I am going to ROCK it! I just made my first meal for the 500 calorie days. Ground meat, with broccoli. YUM :) I hope I can stick to it, even though I really don't like meat very much... I guess we'll see how it goes... Wish me luck!!
